During the full installation, the client shall arrange transport, food & lodging for the Field Service Engineer(s) (FSE) and must ensure that the minimum conditions below are fulfilled.

Petersime expects a hospitality in a satisfactory manner with respect of all parties involved.

Transportation

1. Transport upon arrival

The starting point of an installation is the arrival of the FSE at the closest/most convenient airport to the hatchery. The client should arrange the pick-up of the FSE at the correct timing in agreement with the Petersime FSE planner.

If not applicable, costs of the taxi / rented car (incl. fuel and other relevant costs) will be considered and reverted to the client.

Upon confirmation, Petersime responsible person(s) and engineer(s) should receive all the necessary details of the pick-up (contact person, phone number of taxis, …).

Petersime expects the same practical arrangements at the departure of the FSE. In most cases the communication will be done by the FSE when the departure will take place (, also if a next visit is required because of visa details, contractors’ delay, …).

2. Transport during installation

During the installation, the FSE should get transport for the route hatchery – hotel. If preferred by the client (and approved by the FSE), a car at the client’s disposal can be provided. As in point 1, if not applicable, the costs of the taxi / rented car (incl. fuel and other relevant costs) will be considered and reverted to the client.

Overnight accomodation

  • To not lose any valuable installation time, we prefer, if possible, a maximum of 30 minutes driving between hotel and the hatchery site.
  • In the agreement, Petersime gives an estimation of the installation time (this will also be informed again at the confirmed arrival of the FSE). This will be an indication to reserve the hotel. If any delays, this should also be at the client’s expense.
  • Most hotels are flexible with dates (especially if long term installation) for changes in check-in / check-out date.
  • One room per FSE with a space minimum of 20m², equipped with shower/sink (cold/hot water), heating/cooling depending on the climate. A silent room, preferably not at the side of the traffic road.
  • Laundry service available, room daily cleaned, fresh towels/bedsheets minimum every week. Also, a fresh bottle of water every day.
  • Hearty breakfast (starting no later than 7AM) & evening meal with water or soda drink, preferably in the hotel (alcohol at the expense of the FSE) = half pension = half board. If applicable, a small kitchen extra in the room of the supervisor.
  • Food must be fresh, hygienic and offers enough variation. The meals should also be enough to offer an FSE vitamins to work max. 10h per day. Monday – Sunday, 7 / 7. If the Petersime supervisor(s) needs to buy this on his own at the store, the receipts will be charged.
  • Fast free Wi-Fi is always available at the hotel.

Food and drinks at the hatchery site

  • Lunchbox from the hotel or delivered at the hatchery. Lunch is fresh, hygienic with enough variation and proteins so the FSE can keep going strong for the rest of the day.
  • Water / soda drink / coffee / tea all time to take on site.
  • Temperature conditioned canteen
