"We innovate animal farming" was the central theme of this year’s EuroTier, the world's leading trade fair for animal farming and livestock management in Hanover, Germany. Petersime fitted in perfectly by showcasing no less than three pioneering hatchery innovations.

Among the 2,200 exhibitors at this year’s fair, our interactive booth drew the attention by showcasing three pioneering hatchery innovations as well as the broad range of services we offer to help customers reach Operational Excellence.

- At the Petersime booth, visitors were introduced to NestSound™, the world’s first chick sound monitoring technology aimed at enhancing chick welfare. This innovative technology fills a crucial gap in hatchery management by automatically alerting hatchery managers when chicks need attention during storage, based on their vocalizations.
- In addition, HatchScan™ was launched as a groundbreaking advancement in incubation temperature control. This patent-pending technology is unique to Petersime and ensures the continuity of temperature control throughout the entire setter-to-hatcher cycle. By listening and responding to the needs of the embryos and new-born chicks, HatchScan™ significantly improves hatch results and chick welfare.
- With OvoLogger™, Petersime introduced an intelligent egg data logger that consistently collects vital data on the conditions experienced by hatching eggs from breeder farm to hatchery. When integrated with the Eagle Trax™ software, OvoLogger™ allows hatchery managers to consistently acquire and analyse egg data without gaps, optimizing the hatchery’s production based on solid data.
- Finally, aligning with Petersime’s strategy to further expand customer service, special attention was given to Operational Excellence Support™.
