Project info
To support Swami Feeds’ mission of optimizing its performance results and its output of high-quality chicks, Petersime delivered and installed 18 single-stage X-Streamer™ 24S HD setters and 9 X-Streamer™ 8H HD hatchers. The hatchery is equipped with Eagle Trax™ hatchery software, enabling Swami Feeds to digitalize, analyse and optimally use data, not only within its own operations, but across the complete production value chain. Petersime also designed and installed a tailor-made HVAC system and provided additional hatchery equipment.
The installation was completed in 2 phases between 2020 and 2023 and has resulted in the hatchery’s total production capacity of over 44 million eggs per year.
Dr S. Palanisamy, General Manager at Swami Feeds, said: “We are sure to achieve better hatchability and stronger, healthier day-old chicks thanks to Petersime’s Embryo-Response Incubation™ technology. The technology mimics the natural incubation process and helps us produce robust chicks that show superior performance in terms of survival expectancy, viability, optimal feed consumption and excellent growth.”
